Happy Father's Day Willie, Mets lost first but take nite cap

Well, Willie can celebrate his father days by spending another day as the Mets' manager. He and the Mets are on their way to the left coast once again having just completed a split of their doubleheader today. They lost the first game 8-7 but took the nite cap 4-2. Today was the first one admission doubleheader the mets have played since Sept 2006. The bullpen had an up and down day today with giving up 3 runs in the first game but came back with a roar with 3 innings of shutout ball. We saw some incredible plays by David Wright and Carlos Beltran who did a nice slide and dive catch. He also took a pitch deep to straight away centerfield for a long home run over the 410 sign. It was some shot! The other Carlos also went deep with a solo shot that hit the main scoreboard. So with the games over Omar Minaya as usual was ask the question that hasnt been asked in at least 8 hours.."Is Willie going?" I have to tell you enough is enough. Either can the poor guy or stand behind and say he is the manager for the rest of the year. What is the worst thing that can happen? You change your mind? Who will hold you accountable? No one, of course, but at least then people don't have to make Willie the main story instead of the team which it should be. Well, off to California for one last trip to the west for the season . Lets see what the team can do. We hope for the best and expect the? ?
