Sports Illustrated conducted a survey of 495 Major League Baseball players in its June 23rd issue. The Yankees’ Derek Jeter was first with 10% of the vote. Barry Zito, of the Giants, was second at 9%. The Yankees’ Alex Rodriguez and Red Sox outfielder J.D. Drew were tied for third with 7%. Wright, and Red Sox first baseman Kevin Youkilis were tied for fourth at 4%.
