Tonight's Lineup

According to Adam Rubin, tonight's Mets line-up is:
Reyes, ss
Castillo, 2b
Wright, 3b
Beltran, cf
Easley, lf
Delgado, 1b
Castro, c
Chavez, rf
Martinez, rhp
Originally it was thought newly acquired Trot Nixon would be in tonight's line-up, but he will not be arriving in time to start.

I'm bummed. After announcing a trade for Nixon, and getting the fan base excited, Nixon will not arrive in time. I wonder if they make a roster move BEFORE the game to activate Nixon, in case he arrives DURING the game, so he can be used, or, if they wait until after the game, to activate him.

ok, I know we got a win last night. However, can we get a little more imaginative with the line-up. C'mon Willie you may be hangin' by a thread. just a suggestion to shake things up a little. maybe we will get a few more runs

According to Rubin, Nixon's plane doesn't arrive until 4:40. I'm guessing he might be available for replacement/pinch hitting duties. It would be fun to see him play.

2 hours before game time is enough for me..Maybe there will be a last minute change.
