Big Pelf And Mets Win Their 4th In A Row...

The Mets, with another big game at the plate, shut out the Giants, and beat their ace Tim Lincecum, 7-0.

Big Pelf started a little shaky, but, after the first inning, the Mets' pitchers didn't let a runner past 1st base. Mike Pelfrey pitched 7 shutout innings, and didn't allow any walks in the game.

Carlos Beltran's 3 run jack, in the first inning, was all the Mets needed.

Carlos Delgado had a solo home run that hit the base of the scoreboard. This is the way the game against the Phillies should have went, Monday night. Speaking of the Phillies, they lost tonight against the Cards, so it's hard to believe, the Mets are only now a game and a half out of first place.

The Mets are looking very loose, and really pounding the baseball. Let's see them score runs for Santana Wednesday night.
