This good game, bad game, Mets' season is getting really crazy.
The Mets had another game where everything seemed to go right for them.
The Mets score 3 runs in the first off the rookie, Boggs, who took a beating tonight. The Mets blew the game open early with 6 runs in the 3rd. Even Pelfrey, got his hand in the pot, with a rbi single, with 2 outs. Reyes blew it open, with his bases clearing triple. Delgado finished off the scoring with a 2 run bomb.
Pelfrey was in total command, with a wicked sinker, that tailed in to the righties. He struck out 6 and gave up 1 run in 7 innings.
David Wright left the game in the 5th, when he might have tweaked his groin . Manuel, in his post game, said that David is fine.
We will see how fine, when they get to Philly tomorrow. It was a nice win, heading into the Philly series this weekend.
