Church Leaves Game With Dizziness...
Ryan Church was taken out of last night's game. When Gary Cohen, of SNY, reported that Church came out of the game because of "dizziness," I am sure it had many extremely worried, as Church is recovering from two concusssions, earlier this season.
Now, the problem is being reported as a migraine headache, and that Church is expected to be fine.
Church reported his eyes were hurting, then, he felt dizzy, and he had a headache, while talking to the media, after the game.
I hope Church will be all right. I don't know if anyone knows, with confidence, how much damage those two concussions caused, and if Church has recovered fully, to the point where he should be back to playing every day. I don't blame the Mets for pulling him from the game, the moment he reported dizziness. I just want Church to feel better. He's been a fantastic surprise, and become a terrific addition to the Mets.
