Davey Johnson, Mets' Manager For A Day...

Davey Johnson was the Mets' manager, during the 1986 World Series championship season, and will be the manager, for the USA baseball team, at the upcoming Olympic Games in Beijing.

Yesterday, he managed the USA team, in the futures game, and was shown wearing a NY Mets' hat, and his familiar number 5, in a USA team uniform.

When interviewed by ESPN's Erin Andrews, Johnson said he wore the Mets' hat, because being in New York, he felt it was appropriate, and also he had many fond memories, of New York.

Good luck in Beijing, Davey, and it was great to see you managing, while wearing # 5, and a Mets' hat, for a day.
