It’s A Bad Day For Pedro…

Ron Darling, of SNY, during the pre-game show, stated as fact, what had been hinted…

Pedro Martinez was tipping his pitches.

Darling showed how Pedro, would hold his glove out wider, and hold his glove closer to his heart, when pitching a change-up. For other pitches, Pedro would hold his glove tighter, and hold his glove closer to waist height.

Darling hinted that the problem was solved, and expect a better Pedro.

Then, the game started…

Martinez gave up four runs in the first, and five earned over 5 innings, raising his alarming ERA to 7.39

Pedro Feliciano also struggled, blowing a 7-5 eighth inning lead, by allowing a 2-run home run, on the first pitch, to his first batter, Chris Duncan.

Pedro & Pedro just did not have a good day…
