Atlanta (43-48) won yesterday, 5 games behind Philly
The Mets are now tied with Florida, after looking up at them, in the standings, for a while. Can they get to the next step, and take sole possession of second place, and stop seeing the word “Atlanta” directly below them in the standings ?
If the Mets can get into sole possession of 2nd place, after winning 4 straight, including 3 in a row vs. Philly, this will put the pressure squarely on Philly.
Can the Mets make it to the next step ?
