Pedro Is The Key...

With the Mets unable to get any momentum going lately, they need a shot in the arm, and that person that can kick them into a drive, other then neutral, can be Pedro Martinez. The team can't even, at this point, win 2 games in a row.

Pedro, who has fallen on hard times, needs to turn things around for himself, and that can bring a huge boost to this team.

His ERA is over 7.00 at this time, but, Pedro gave you a little ray of sunshine, after the 1st inning, of his last start. He gave up only 1 run.

His velocity is there, it's just his location that is off. He is giving batters too much of the plate when he pitches.

With Santana being the only pitcher right now that is only giving up 2-3 runs a start, Pedro can help the Mets, by just being the Pedro of 2007. Pedro did well last year, when he faced the Phils, and gave up only 1 run at Shea. The Mets need some consistency, to help them move to the front of the Eastern division, right now, that no one is running away with.

Pedro Martinez can be the leader of this movement.
