Florida plays in LA, tonight, at 10:10 EST.
Current standings have Philly (51-44) in first place, with a half game lead over the Mets (50-44), who have won 8 consecutive games, and 9 of their last 10.
Because the Marlins have not yet played tonight, the Mets are in second place, all by themselves.
If the Marlins (49-44) win, they will be tied with the Mets at (50-44), tied for 2nd place, a half game behind Philly.
If the Marlins lose, they will drop to sole possession of 3rd place, (49-45), 1 and a ½ games behind Philly, and 1 game behind the Mets.
