The Mets today, under the power of another star for the day, beat the Giants 7-3. Fernando Tatis gets the nod with 4 RBI's, with a nice double, and a home run. Nice to see another guy take the stage, for the Mets.
I'm not sure why the Giants think they have a chance, because they looked pretty bad, in this series.
John Maine still struggled with his control. Maine struck out 8 in 4 2/3 innings, and had 109 pitches. He gave up 2 hits and 5 walks. Something doesn't seem to be right with him.
The Mets collected 9 hits, 3 by Tatis. David Wright went 2 for 3. The bullpen came through again, not allowing a run, collecting 13 outs. The Mets are now 4 games over .500, and have won 6 in a row, for the first time this year.

Give big PROPS to Tatis. I am sure that I'm not the only one giggling like a little girl when the Superman theme comes on before he gets to the plate. Who does Fernando think he is? Well he is Mavalous. He really has been like Superman lately. He has been clutch. I hope it keeps up. Remember, It's better to look good than to feel good. Go Fernando!!
