Seven other teams went into an All-Star Break on a winning streak of at least nine games, five of them won the World Series that year.
The 1935 Tigers (10-game streak), 1938 and 1941 Yankees (both nine-game streaks), 1975 Reds (10), and the 1995 Braves (nine) all won the World Series.
The 1952 Cardinals and the 1954 Yankees both had nine-game streaks, but finished in third place in the NL, and second place in the AL, respectively.
