Who were those guys? Ollie Perez and the Mets made it look easy 3-0 win

The game was over before 10pm. AAron Heilman pitched to 6 batter in 2 innings. He had a 1-2-3 ninth. It bears repeating a 1-2-3 ninth inning. No stress . No body biting there Mets cap or shaking there heads. Then Carlos Beltran made a sliding catch to end the game and Met fans were wondering who were those guys?

Ollie Perez got off to a shaky start especially in the 2nd inning when he had the based loaded but was able to get out of the jam. He was basically going to 3-2 on every batter and had over 40 pitches by the end of the second.

He had all the runs he needed by then with a 2 run home run by David Wright in the first which brings him to 89 rbis and 22 home runs for the season.

Carlos Delgado fresh from his day off yesterday hit a solo shot in the 4th inning .

Ollie Perez gave up a double in the 7th but got out of that inning with no runs being scored.
