In his question and answer spot, Jerry Crasnick responded to a philly fan in regards to the Phillies winning this weekend’s series.
“Sorry, but I don't see it. The Mets have Pelfrey, Pedro and Santana pitching, and there's no way the Phillies beat all three of those guys. The Phils just need to win two, and based on the way they've been playing lately, that's pretty optimistic. I think the Mets smell it this year, and they're motivated to open up some space and stop all the "collapse'' talk that's a remnant from last season.”
Lets hope he is Right.
