Looks like we won't see John Maine in the starting rotation for the rest of the year. He will be first picking up a baseball on Sunday to have a catch. This will be the first of any baseball activities that John has had since going on the DL .
If Mr Maine can comeback at all this year he won't be able to build up his arm strength and will pitch out of the bullpen. Which I'm sure will welcome him there since the Mets only seem to have 20 relievers these days.
