Jerry Manuel confirmed that Jon Niese will get his major league debut smack dab in the middle of the Mets pennant race Tuesday night against the brewers. He will face 10 game winner Manny Parra.
Jon was 11-8 in the minors this year. The Brewers as a team have done really well against left handed pitching.
