The Mets didn't use any former Mets to pull down the countdown number at Shea last night. With the Mets not playing today, last night the Mets used the pregame to honor those that had fallen on 9-11. With the help of one of the bravest of the FDNY and the NYPD , Mr Met took down the countdown number to reveal 11 before last night's game. A fitting tribute to mark 7 years since 9-11.
Ok for once I will agree with the Mets choice. Bravo!
