Last year at this time The Mets were leading the division by 3 games over the Phillies. They were 76 and 60 after September 1st last year and this year they are 77 61 and lead the Phillies by 2 games.
Last September they started off the month going 9-2 before everything fell apart. This year they just need to be consistent. 9-2 would be nice to duplicate but as long as we don’t duplicate the last 2 weeks of the ’07 season.
