Everyone has seen Mike Piazza hit some shots at Shea that have gone to the back of the bullpen in right field, or hit the scoreboard in Center field. Who has hit some of the longest shots at Shea?
One has to be the shot that Mo Vaughn hit back in 2002 during his short tenure with the Mets.
He hit a shot that hit the Budweiser sign in the Middle of the Scoreboard in Right Center field.
Of course Tommie Agee hit a ball that made it to the Upper Deck in left field where the Mets have actually place a marker to signify the home run.
