Just heard on WFAN...Billy Wagner is done for the season. Apparently he has a torn Flexor and torn MCL in or below his left elbow.
He will need surgery, and will miss at least one year. Does this mean Billy Wags will pitch no more for the Mets? There is a club option for 2010, but if he doesn't pitch in 2009...?

The NY Mets have not made an official announcement, but after hearing it on WFAN and now seeing Newsday, I think our worst fears may be true.
