If the Mets signed Trevor Hoffman for 2009 Billy Wagner would be pretty motivated to get himself able to pitch sometime in late in 2009 just to set up Trevor. Well this does not seem likely since the Mets are on the brink of signing K ROD .It seems that Mr Wagner is a big fan of the All time saves leader.
