The Mets and Randy Wolf's agent have chatted recently but no discussions of salary have been reported. The Mets see him as a cheaper target then Perez. Wolf , a left hander, would help the Mets by adding a second lefty to the rotation which can help them against the Phillies who are predominantly a lefty line up.
Ollie Perez can be a big game pitcher and Randy Wolf seems to keep his best games to when he plays the Mets where he is lifetime 11-5. Still like the Mets to sign Mr Lowe if is price comes down. The Mets do not really have a true # 2 starter.
