If you watched last nights MLB network “hot stove report” you might have caught the segment with Ron Darling.
Darling was on discussing the last day at Shea with Matt and Leiter Ron was discussing how before the end of Shea ceremonies started how they were consoling Hojo on how the season just ended.
Leiter just starting saying that yeah the way it ended was horrible. Could not be any worse. He went on to mention the brewers etc. It is possible that Leiter, who was at the same ceremonies, was a little bitter since when he was announced that day he was greeted with a lot of boos . Al was a little classless in that exchange. He did go on to mention though that Ron was a emmy winning broadcaster etc.
Darling also mentioned how he likes to bring the broadcast to the fans.
2 weeks before games start down in florida! Bring on Gary, Keith and Ron!
