JJ on WFAN

On Wednesday morning new Met set-up man JJ Putz was a guest on the Boomer and Carton program on WFAN.

Putz shows personality, and will be a breath of fresh air in the clubhouse.

Putz says he was surprised he was going to the Mets, and not that he wants to set-up, but he wants to win more than anything, and he will accept his role to help the team win.
Putz' view on PEDS: Not happy about A-Roids name being released, but since it has been, the reamaining 103 names should be released. He also believes it's time to move on.

I watched him on mets hot stove last night. Any guy that makes reference to Family Guy is alright in my book! Will there be a war regarding music selection in the clubhouse now?

I love what JJ said when he was introduced to the New York media: he was asked if kids ever made fun of him because of his last name, he said, "Dude, I was bigger than everyone..." BEAUTIFUL! NY is gonna love this guy. He already wants to be on WFAN weekly during the season. He has more personality than Brian Schneider does.
