He had been swinging the bat pretty good and even drove in the Mets first run in Sundays contest . Now we have to wait to see how long Angel Pagan will be out. If you saw the play he was injured on it did not look good. On a ball hit to his right that luckily bounced off the wall right back to him he looked like he was the one legged man.
The Mets really needed someone up at the top of the lineup to act like a catalyst and Pagan was the man it looked like while Jose Reyes was out.
He went for an MRI after the game and I agree with manager Jerry Manuel that does not look like a day to day injury. Add Pagan to the walking wounded.
