Was fun to watch David Wright duck a bat that lead to a single and 3 run second. I am sure it was fun to see Anderson Hernandez throw to a phantom first baseman in the 8th.
Wasn’t it nice seeing the D back with all there 2 out hits by Chad Tracy. What did we do as Mets fans to endure this kind of horrific summer. Was it asking too much for the Mets to bow out the usual way and lose on the last day of the year? Or was that thrown by the wayside the minute the schedule came out and it was the Astros not the Marlins that we end the season with.
Mike Pelfrey said that just because he 8 days off that it would be no excuse. Jerry Manuel said there would be no excuse for Pelf. Then why did he get hammered? Oh yeah location location location.
Jerry said that David Wright would get a day off today. Hey Jerry how about giving us fans a break and give us a day off and field a team that can win a game?
