Adam Rubin got a great quote from clean shaven Jeff Francoeur. The Mets vowed not to shave until they hit .500 in measure of unity. With the Mets 7 games under .500 Franchoeur shaved.
Jeff said in regards to shaving,"I might have had it until October"
Classic..also I love it because the highlight of the season might be the Mets hitting .500. This is what I waited all winter to watch. Unbelievable.
