Congratulations to Mike and Angela Pelfrey on the birth of their new born son, Chase Michael. Pelfrey was moved from his start Saturday to Monday, to replace Jon Niese, who underwent season ending surgery to repair a torn hamstring.
Bobby Parnell will make the start for Pelfrey on Saturday. Parnell said,“I’m excited. Coming up, I always thought I’d be a starter in the big leagues.”
