Market for Billy Wagner heating up before he throws his first pitch.

Who needs a lefty reliever? Seems like a lot of teams do. Before Billy has thrown a pitch there is a lot of chatter among fans that would love to see Wags on there favorite team. In this post which talks about Wagner and him being on the waiver wire check out all the comments here

Do the Dodgers need him since they just had one of there pitchers hurt and Broxton has not been doing well lately? Do the Cubs need him since Kevin Gregg has lost his closer job? You know the Phillies need him but I don’t see him going there Will the Yankees pick him up for extra insurance in the pen? What about the Marlins. There seems to be a lot of suitors for the Mets lefty. Will the Mets get anything in return of value? Will they have to pay any of his salary? What team do you think will acquire Billy Wagner? Let us know your thoughts!

Wagner has a full no trade clause, so if any deal is worked out, he must approve. I see Wagner only considering legitimate contending teams. I think the only way he would go to the Marlins would be to face the Mets at the end of the season. I think Wagner will remain a Met this season.

I have read that Wagner wants to win this year! Next year his only goal is to make it 400 saves which he is 15 away. I think he will be traded.
