New HD video boards as well as shockingly more of a Mets presence at Citi Field tonight

The Mets are making some much needed addtions to Citi Field which will be installed intime for tonights game as per Adam Rubin

There will be imagery from the Mets past finally including the 2 pics above. Also there will be a HD video boards in the right field corner and above the food court in the promenade section of the park.

Also they will lower the ribbon board that is attached to the promenade façade .

They are also adding the Mets winning championship pennants to the left field wall and also we will see pictures of past Mets adorn the inside of the stadium. Wow what a concept .

Most of these ideas come from complaints of fans I am sure. I never could understand why they didn’t have a video board in the promenade area but they had one in centerfield.

Of course the Mets don’t have the hindsight to think of these things before the season especially the ability to highlight past teams. That to me is just absurd but at least they did it in season
