A text message worth reading from Ryan Church.

Somewhere in the bouls of the park in Atlanta Ryan Church thought that it might be a good idea to text his ex teammate as per Adam Rubins column.

Church shot a text to David Wright to say hey don’t rush back on the field. Wright had tried to talk the Mets into letting him skirt the DL but the Mets for once were smart.

Church is not exactly flourishing in his new home in Atlanta. He has only 2 homers and 11 rbis going into lasts night’s contest He of course had to deal with some concussions last year and was in and out of the lineup all last summer.

Manuel of course questioned Church’s ability to overcome his issues.
Church wants to make sure the David does what’s best for David. No doubt when the Braves come to town on Tuesday you know the media will be looking for Church to discuss the latest dealings with Wright and relating it to what happened to him last year. Hopefully the Mets will make some noise so we concentrate on what’s on the field now and not whats in the past.

It's over Johhny!!!!! SHUT everyone down. risk NO more injuries to this team. I would even tell Johan to take an early vacation. Let's look toward next year.
