How much did the Wilpons lose 300M ? 400M? 500M ? How about they made 48 Million!
Stories are out now saying the Wilpons actually made some mad $$ in the Madoff Scheme. Wow ! So all these other reports have been wrong I love it!
In an article by Ray Ratto there are some very funny lines that Ray mentions . Like “It's hard to view the Mets as victims, largely because they're so inherently bad at it. They aren't the Knicks, 'tis true, but they do walk with a certain unearned swagger that makes other people want to strike them with bags of gravel.”
To me the funny thing about is the fact that all this time with ever move the Mets made it was made out to be due to the Mets losing $$. Honestly I didn’t really believe the Mets changed places they had off season training was due to the Madoff schemes but more just coincidences.
Now it will be fun seeing all the reporters who believed that the Mets did incur big loses back track!

The money will not be the Wilpon's because according to the law, they will owe money to those who lost money. Fred and Jeff should rent themselves out as Bad Karma.
