As we wake up here in NY and ponder another day without Mets baseball we can remember a day 23 years ago..
Of course as most fans I would prefer watching the Mets play now then remeinse
23 years ago today game 6 1986 World Series. The Mets have mounted a magical comeback with 2 outs and here is the Mook up. After almost being hit by the pitch Wilson hit a slow roller to aging 1st baseman Buckner and the rest is history.

Where were you on that day? I was actually watching the game with a friend of mine who was a die hard Red Sox fan. The both of us were pretty mentally exhausted after that game. We survived that game still being friends. I do remember how that the news was showing people in the City watching the games on tvs in stores etc and everybody just went crazy.
