Yes his bat helped the Cardinals score the first run with a homer but his fielding cost his team the game and quite possibly the series.
With 2 outs in the bottom of the ninth with none on Holliday flubbed a fly ball that basically hit him in the groin and the Dodgers took that and ran with it as Ryan Franklin blew up and the Cards lost a heartbreaker 2-1

Back in 2006 Endy Chavez didn’t fall down as he ran to the wall he made the play. This is the guy some Met fans want in left field next year? Why so when we make the playoffs we get subjected to that type of bonehead play. Some guys on MLB network last night were looking for reasons why he missed it like the lights were in his eyes. Yeah ok. Tell him to wear sun glasses. NO excuses you need to make that play.
