I am not sure if fanse remember but early this year there was some stories out there that David Spent some time with HoJo around the time of the SuperBowl . They talked shop watched football and maybe did some hitting.
Well after a year of Wright hitting 10 homers and having a slugging percentage under .500 for the first time in his career there was talk about Wright hitting up HoJo again. For what I ask?
Wright of course puts too much pressure on himself to perform. It was almost like watching A Rod over time in the playoffs and then this year he broke through some how.
David doesn’t seem to do well with adjusting much. He spent way too many at bats fouling off balls he used to crush. There was talk about his bat speed. There was talk about Citi Field messing with him. Of course him taking a hit to the noggin wasn’t much of a help.
I think David needs to take a little from MR Murphy who is stubborn like the rest of him but made adjustments and started hitting the inside pitch.
David needs to look in before he looks for help from others. I would like to see him have an awesome year in 2010!! I just not sure if its going to happen. What do you think?
