The Mets have gone to Japan to shure up there bullpen. The 30 year old right- hander throws between 93-96 and will now set up K Rod. He had Tommy John surgery 2 years ago.
Igarashi, who was 3-2 with a 3.19 ERA last year.
The Mets are still waiting on Bay and Molina who wants 3 years in a deal but the Mets are not budging.
There is also chatter how the Mets are kicking tires on Joel Pinerio and Jason Marquis who is trying to project that he wants to play for the Nationals partly I am sure to have the Mets over pay for him . Knowing the Mets.........
