Catching up with Todd Zeile

As we wait for the blizzard of Dec 2009 to hit us and of course any word that Jason Bay has unturned all his rocks and realizes he needs to sign with the Mets there is a fluff piece in the NY Post about former Met Todd Zeile.

He played for the Mets back in 2000 and 2001 and again played his last game in a Met uniform in 2004.

The 44 year old seems hell bent in breaking down the doors in Hollywood. He has made a movie that he is trying to get released next year that he calls "what amounts to a feature that is a faith-based version of 'Crash'. There are 10 story lines in Los Angeles around the 10 freeway. The faith component of it is that all Ten commandments are depicted in the journey"

His son also stars in the movie which is about a rocker, Zeile, who comes back to make it big after his son dies tragically. Todd son is part of a gorup called Jet Stream that will open for comedian George Lopez at the Nokia theatre in LA.

Zeile also mentioned that sometimes soon when he completes some projects he would like to get back to baseball as a coach.
