As the deadline approaches and as expected the Mets will not be offering arbitration to Carlos Delgado, Fernando Tatis, Gary Sheffield or Elmer Dessens.
It was reported last week that that Mets were trying to work on a deal with Elmer Dessens
Bart Hubbach tweeted earlier that the Mets are still interested in trying to work on a deal for Carlos Delgado depending on how he fairs when he plays in Puerto Rico later this month.
