Of course if your bored you can check out the article on David Wright that basically says nothing at the NY Post If you need something to get you in the mood for the upcoming Jet game on saturday or if your not a Jet fan and want to watch a little Mets history, check out SNY on saturday.
SNY is playing 3 games from the 1986 NLCS against the Astros. Some of those games were just as dramatic as the World Series was. From the 16th inning affair in game 6 or the come from behind win in game 3 at Shea which I was lucky enough to attend you can feel the excitement from watching those games just as much as watching the ball go between Buckners legs. Back then there were no computers to log onto. Getting tickets were the ole fashion way. Ticket scalpers!
That 3rd game at Shea was something I had never experienced before when Dykstra hit that homer . I had never felt the stands shake as much as they did that night! Kudos for SNY for showing something other then the 1969 W Series! and of course getting Jets fans ramped up for the game against the Bengals!
