Well its super bowl sunday. Time to make sure you have enough chips,beer, wings and whatever else for the big game tonight that starts at 620pm. Who will win the Colts or Saints?
Will Manning beat Drew? Will the commercials rock? Will the Who rock the half time show?
All I know is that after people lick there wounds on monday from losing the office pool that football will move from the front seat to the trunk and baseball will now take over!
Yes by tuesday people will be like ok time for baseball. Of course we still have March Madness but at least by then we will have some spring training games to watch. We will be able to see Reyes motor down to first base.
We will see if Pelfrey has yips or Maine has dead arm. Will Ollie grow up? We also might get treated to a game on SNY with the 3 amigos Gary, Keith and Ron. I am sure by now Gary is chomping at the bit as Keith goes oh man not again.
The Mets think they are ready to go after the Phillies with the team they have now. Will they sign Smoltz or some other pitcher that is a fringe pitcher at best? Who knows but at least we will have the drama of the season soon to unfold . Even has some of the east coast digs out of the blizzard of 2010 people have had enough of the winter.
Almost time for Baseball after a pretty lame off season!! and not a moment too soon if you ask me.
