Mets make slight adjustment to height of the centerfield wall

I am sure now David Wright is happy. New Year resolution to have the Mets lower the height of the centerfield wall. Check! The Mets announced they will lower the center field wall that is 16 feet in height in front of the home run apple down to 8 feet across center field according to the daily news.

Ok so instead of that second row of padding that makes the center fielder dwarfed we might now see a play at the wall with Beltran's glove trying to save the day instead of watching the ball just either bounce off of the wall or fly over it without a play.

This will be the only adjustment to the dimensions in Citi Field . How exciting.
