As Mike Jacobs flouders, Ike Davis has great start at Buffalo

As Mike Jacobs went 0-2 last night before being lifted for a pinch hitter, you have to wonder how long they will go with the left first baseman. He has 1 hits so far in 11 at bats.

I never was a proponent of having Ike Davis up this year. The pressure would be too much for young 1st baseman.

Ike went to buffalo which started its season on thursday and is off to a hot start for the Bisons. Ike Davis has reached base in six of his first nine Triple-A plate appearances. Davis is 4-7 with two doubles, a home run and two walks this season.

Yes its only 2 games. We hope Jacobs will turn things around and soon but Davis is making it tough not too notice.
