Mets lineup in flux in Colorado.

Some interesting decisions for Mets Manager Jerry before tonight’s game in Denver. He now has to ponder what to do with his lineup as the Mets face a lefty tonight. Does he move Francouer up in the lineup due to his hot start? Does he move Castillo down to 8 and bat Pagan 2nd? How about Reyes in the 3 slot?

Well I don’t think Jose will move down the order and Pagan bat first just yet since he is still getting his feet wet. Even though it does lengthen the lineup by doing that. Moving Castillo 8th to me will be the kiss of death to Castillo. He did not do so well last year when he batted 8th.

My order would be Reyes followed by Castillo, Wright,Bay, Francouer, Pagan,Tatis,Barajas and Maine. I do not want Tatis in the 6th hole for his ability to hit into rally killing double plays. (See 2009). I think Pagan’s ability to spray the ball and hit for average helps the Mets by hitting down in the 6th hole. Now he should also see more time in Centerfield since Matthews Jr is a big 0-10 since opening day.

What order would you like to see Manager Jerry use tonight?
