The Mets fans were wondering why the Mets never went after Marquis during the off-season. Many of fan thought he would be a decent upgrade to the Mets starters. He didn’t sign with the Mets but signed with the Nationals and got lit up early in the season..
Now looks like he will have surgery for bone chips in his elbow and miss 8-10 weeks more of the season.
