Mike Pelfrey will not be pitching in the Giants series as expected. Pelfrey had a stiff back and stiff neck from the plane ride out west the other day so his start will be pushed back. Look for Takahashi to get the start on saturday.
Pelfrey will now start the first game of the D-Back series and pitch Monday at Chase field.
