Adam Rubin has reported ( Adam Rubin - Surfing The Mets ) that the Mets have sent down 1B/LF Nick Evans to the AAA Buffalo Bisons.
Evans is scheduled to play 1B today for the Bisons against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Evans has batted .250 with one HR and 6 RBI's in 15 games for the Mets this year.
Barring a trade, I'm sure we will see Evans before the conclusion of the season...er the conclusion of the schedule. The season might have already concluded. Hey, at least we have Argenis Reyes still on the Major League roster!
