Today the Mets will introduce Wally Backman as Manager of the Brooklyn Cyclones. We have all heard the stories and problems Backman has had, but personally, I have always been in his corner (just ask longislandmetfan). I am so glad this day has come, and if he stays with this organization, I truly expect him to one day manage the team in Flushing. Mike Silva of Mike Silva's NY Baseball Digest shares my opinion in this regard.
