Mets about to hire Wayne Krivsky...

Tracy Ringolsby, a writer for the Rocky Mountain News, reports that Wayne Krivsky, former Reds' general manager, is about to accept a scout position with the Mets.

Why Krivsky ?

He worked with Omar Minaya, Sandy Johnson (special assistant), Rudy Terrasas (scouting director) and Brian Lamb (pro scout) in the Texas Rangers' front office.
