More Mets’ injury updates…Havens, Pagan, F. Martinez...

Shortstop Reese Havens, the second of the Mets’ first round draft picks (their first, Ike Davis, hasn’t signed yet) has not yet played with the (A) Brooklyn Cyclones due to a sore elbow. He could make his debut toward the end of next week. He fits right in. He’s on the payroll, and unable to play.

Angel Pagan (remember him ?) is still too injured to swing a bat right-handed (Pagan is a switch-hitter), and may need surgery to repair his left shoulder.

Outfield prospect Fernando Martinez, rehabbing from an injured right hamstring, is set to resume playing today.
